First time going to a BYOD (build your own dish) Indian food place and it was delightful. Very clean and simple menu with main options, protein options, and side dish options. I don't have a whole lot of experience with Indian food so I ordered the Kabobs Bowl and the Butter Tikka and wasn't disappointed. I also added on the Samosa which I had never tried before and found them very enjoyable with the green sauce. The selection of teas and juices that they had were also very flavorful. Price point was perfect and can definitely see myself going back again.
GO! Just go! We went during the Holi holiday so they gave us chalk to play in while we waited for our food for a minute, and my kiddo loved it. They were so kind and the atmosphere really was great. Had the butter chicken, next time I’m trying the tikka!
First time at this little Indian "fusion" style restaurant. I say fusion because they have things like naan tacos, Indian style pizza, and "loaded" fries. But the biryani was GOOD, the samosas were good, and the mango lassi was good. Will definitely be back.
This walk-up casual dining indian food spot is a favorite of ours. Their self-serve ice teas are fantastic. I recommend any of their wings as an appetizer or as a meal. Their main dishes I have tried have been delicious. Highly recommend their spicy chicken kabob bowl. The only feedback I would give is that their in a restaurant that can be a little loud at times. Otherwise, it's a great spot!
When you want a quick bite this place is the bomb let me tell you what I have the Tikka Curry medium spiced with lamb and it was delicious. I met my wife there she had got some tacos pita tacos that looks simply Delicious they had many flavors to choose from and frankly this place is fun just to go get something new and once you try everything on the menu well start over...
Indian Food! First of all, I'm no Indian cuisine snob and haven't had a ton of it in my life but on occasion I crave some yummy Butter Chicken and Naan Bread! I decided to try Tikka Shack by my house at Power and Ray Rd. It was really good and I love the atmosphere inside with the best upbeat music in the background. My Butter Chicken and Garlic Cheese Naan bread hit the spot! They have wings as well and even Indian inspired pizza! Pretty big menu. They also have a cute little patio if you enjoy eating outside. Prices are fair and it's casual counter service. Go check them out. I know that I'll be back soon!
I'm SO excited this place opened, I'm from California and had several former coworkers who would bring homemade Indian food for pot luck and I miss it. I enjoy their outdoor and indoor dining, it's always super clean here. Service and food are exceptional
Absolutely love coming to Tikka Shack—especially for their Tuesday specials! It’s become a weekly tradition for us. The food is always delicious, and the vibe is super laid back. Shoutout to Lily, who was incredibly helpful in recommending the perfect pairings for our meal—made the experience even better. Great food, great service, great deal. See you next Tuesday!
